Metal Curving

Holding tolerance in metal bending...that's what it's all about. If it doesn't fit, it won't work! Our experience with the Aerospace industry allows us to curve metal to closer tolerances than you'll probably ever need. We do our job right, which makes it easy for you to do your job well. It is because of these simple facts that our company has been the preferred choice for quality metal forming.

Our Curving Process

In commercial applications, any number of intricate or oddly shaped sections must snap together into a single unit without gaps or distortion. The finished product must retain structural integrity and be free of blemishes which could destroy its aesthetic appeal. Our metal curving process, stretch forming, meets all these requirements. The metal to be formed is gripped at the ends and stretched around a forming block to produce the desired radius. This simultaneous stretching and curving process has a decided advantage over all other forming methods. There is no surface marring, perpendicularity of surfaces is assured, and consistency of tolerances from part to part is maintained. Practically all metals common to the architectural, commercial, industrial and aerospace industry are compatible with the stretch forming process.

The Secret to Success

You're buying more than a curving process. Experience of being in the curving business for over 40 years and a total commitment to quality separates our company from the crowd. We are staffed with the most experienced stretch press operators and die makers in the industry. When Stretch Forming Corp. is your metal curving supplier, quality curving and on time delivery is always assured.

We understand what's important to you:

Getting a top quality curved product, on-time, avoids frustration, delays and extra costs.

"We're the difference between a job... and a job well done."

Price, Quotes and Delivery

By gathering just a small amount of information, we can, in most cases, quote a job within hours. Your requirements can be taken over the phone, by fax or e-mail.

Cost savings in relation to other forming methods can be dramatic. Further savings can be realized due to our ability to eliminate fabrication steps on the curved sections. Most materials can be curved to include straight legs on one or both ends. This eliminates the costly step of welding on straight sections.

Normal lead time is two weeks after receipt of material. We can also accommodate shorter lead time upon request.
